Re-routing a short section of the lower Western Ridge Trail with signage, debris and structure removal. We also worked on the nearby Reservation 630 East trail- narrowing the trail and adding to some rock cribbing.

We returned again this weekend to the lower Valley Trail around Boulder Bridge in order to close off the social trails, add signage, and perform some nearby trail narrowing.

Celebrating National Trails Day by taking up a long-delayed project on the lower Valley Trail near Boulder Bridge. We worked on clearing out where a slide last year sent boulders onto the trail, we cut and cached blowdown debris so that we'll be ready to close off a social trail in two weeks, and also narrowed a section of the lower Valley above Boulder Bridge.

Working on the lower Valley Trail around Blagden Avenue. We replaced posts and braces on the pedestrian bridge, replaced and maintained some waterbars, expanded the trail, and removed a bunch of invasive plants.

Our first official work trip of 2026. We returned to the Dumbarton Oaks Trail to replace waterbars, work on erosion control and address a few other issues.

Teaming up with the W**d Warriors for a mini-trip to clear invasive shrubs and vines from a stretch of the Western Ridge Trail. These plants have become quite pervasive in this area, and often encroach on the trail in the growing season. We also took the opportunity to perform a bit of minor trail work nearby to build up some low and wet parts of the trail.
