Teaming up with the W**d Warriors for a mini-trip to clear invasive shrubs and vines from a stretch of the Western Ridge Trail. These plants have become quite pervasive in this area, and often encroach on the trail in the growing season. We also took the opportunity to perform a bit of minor trail work nearby to build up some low and wet parts of the trail.

Join the Rock Creek Crew this Saturday in Rock Creek Park! We will be working on the lower Valley Trail and the Theodore Roosevelt Side Trail. Meet first at the Rock Creek Park Nature Center at 8:15 AM. End by noon. Remember to bring water and gloves, and dress appropriately for the weather. See you on Saturday!
