Visibility and awareness matter, but effective solutions depend on what actually changes on the street. When current law already limits real-time enforcement, including vehicle pursuits, it raises a legitimate policy question: how do additional laws, on their own, prevent this behavior?

We’re part of the car community and do not support or encourage illegal activity. We respect law enforcement and recognize the constraints officers operate under.

The focus should remain on accountability, prevention, and practical measures that lead to real-world impact.

This behavior is a cancer within the car community.

These acts should be taken very seriously by law enforcement, especially when everyday enthusiasts are routinely stopped for minor violations like tint and exhaust.

The overwhelming majority of this community supports peaceful, organized events, many for charity and good causes. That’s the culture worth protecting.

The entire car community is watching closely and looking forward to seeing what actions are taken and what consequences follow.

‼️ This Is NOT a Rally. This Is Dangerous, Reckless Street Takeover Chaos.

🚨 We applaud coordinated enforcement efforts by Maryland State Police and local departments for intervening in these unlawful gatherings. This type of behavior jeopardizes public safety and damages the reputation of genuine automotive enthusiasts.

📍 What we want to see:
• Continued follow-up reporting on those who organized and promoted these events
• Accountability for pages spreading content that glorifies illegal street takeovers

💬 Legitimately organized meets, shows, and sanctioned events are part of true car culture, reckless, unsanctioned takeovers on public roads are not. We look forward to updates on enforcement and the outcomes for those involved.

What took place overnight in Fairfax / Langley is not car culture. Street takeovers, blocking intersections, reckless driving, stolen vehicles, and destroying property are low-life activities — not the actions of real car enthusiasts.

DMV Car Community has always stood for organized, legal, and family-friendly automotive culture. We build the community through permitted events, charity drives, responsible meets, and safe environments that bring people together — not chaos that puts lives at risk.

Let us be absolutely clear:
• We do not support street takeovers
• We do not promote illegal or reckless behavior
• We do not associate with individuals who damage property or endanger the public

Incidents like this hurt everyone — residents, businesses, first responders, and the genuine car community that works hard to do things the right way.

As the season begins, this is a reminder: real car people don’t move like this. If you love cars, channel that passion through legal events, track days, sanctioned meets, and positive community-driven gatherings.

📍 Protect the culture. Protect the community. Do better.

128,000+ square feet of pure automotive lifestyle. 🏁

Xavo Motor Club is moving forward with plans for a massive facility in Loudoun County, featuring a full restaurant & bar, live music theater, event space, motor vehicle showroom, private high-end storage garages, and a members-only motor club complete with lounge, bar, offices, and meeting rooms.

This isn’t just a garage. It’s a destination.

Designed by Architecture, Incorporated, the same Reston-based firm behind XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness, and if it’s anything like XCAL… expect next-level time 10.

We’ve seen what it’s going to look like, and Loudoun has never seen anything like this. World class. And it’s happening right here in the Ashburn VA, minutes from some of the top exotic dealerships in the region.

The culture is leveling up. 🚗🔥
