The Krewe of Pyros is a premier Mardi Gras organization that provides Louisiana representation in DC.

The Krewe of Pyros' motto is Illuminating the Path to Empowerment! We do that through our community service efforts and scholarship program.

Today, the Krewe of Pyros pauses to honor the 21st Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and remember the lives lost, the families displaced, and the communities forever changed.

We honor the resilience of those who survived, returned, and rebuilt, while also recognizing those who made new homes across the country and carried the heart, culture, and spirit of Louisiana with them.

Twenty-one years later, we remember. We honor. We continue to rise.

From the waters, we rose.
Through the struggle, we endured.
By God’s grace, we are still here.

🔥 A LOOK BACK AT THE FIYAH! 🔥

From the music and movement to the culture and community, WE DID IT! The Krewe of Pyros Inaugural Mardi Gras Parade was truly one for the books!

Thank you to everyone who marched, performed, volunteered, supported, and celebrated with us. You helped bring a little piece of Louisiana to our nation’s capital and the FIYAH was felt every step of the way.

🔥 Brunch with a Purpose! 🔥

The Krewe of Pyros’ FIYAH Fundraiser Brunch brought together great food, great energy, and even greater fellowship. And it was all in support of our commitment to the community, education, and the next generation. Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported the mission, and helped us keep the FIYAH burning! 🔥 HISTORY MADE IN WASHINGTON, DC! ⚜️

What a day! The music, the marching bands, the beads, the dancing, the smiles, and that unmistakable Louisiana spirit filled the streets of Washington, DC for the Krewe of Pyros Inaugural Mardi Gras Parade.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated with us, volunteered, supported the parade, and came out to celebrate. You helped us bring a little piece of Louisiana to the Nation’s Capital and create a moment we’ll never forget.

This was just the beginning. Krewe of Pyros is here. And we’re just getting started. 🔥⚜️
