The Youth Entrepreneurship Project is still in its early stages, but progress is already taking shape. In its first year, the team identified 1,196 young participants, completed a comprehensive initial assessment, and opened a new business incubation center in Cazenga.

From food production and livestock farming to recycling discarded tires into building materials and transforming animal waste into biofertilizer, young entrepreneurs are putting bold ideas into action.

This is what hope looks like when it is backed by real opportunity.

A good idea deserves more than a workshop. That is why the Youth Entrepreneurship Project goes beyond training, combining education, mentorship, incubation support, access to financing, and real connections to local markets.

Building a sustainable business takes a strong support system. Help us make that system available to 1,000 young people in Angola.

Meet the Youth Entrepreneurship Project: a three-and-a-half-year commitment to support 1,000 young entrepreneurs in Luanda, Huíla, and Cunene, at least 70% of whom will be women.

The project offers a comprehensive support system: business education, practical mentorship, incubation support, access to financing, and stronger connections to local markets.

The goal is simple yet transformative: to help young people move from earning just enough to get by to building stable businesses for themselves and their families.

Among the young entrepreneurs this project aims to support are members of Khoisan communities in southern Angola. These Indigenous communities have faced generations of isolation, discrimination, and limited access to opportunity.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Project is working to help change that by bringing mentorship, training, financing, and market access to young people who have long been excluded.

Help ensure that opportunity reaches every community. Donate through the link in our bio.

A discarded tire. Livestock. A pot on the stove. Everyday resources can become the starting point for sustainable businesses.

Of the 1,000 young entrepreneurs the project aims to support, at least 70% will be women—women who have too often been excluded from opportunity and are ready to build something of their own.

In communities where women have historically faced greater barriers, this project is helping change that reality: one business, one mentoring relationship, one loan, and one market connection at a time.

Investing in women strengthens families, local economies, and entire communities.

Long before there was a project, there was determination.

There were early mornings, family businesses, small farms, and livestock to care for. Across Angola, young people have always known what it means to work hard.
What they haven't always had is access to the opportunities that allow that hard work to grow into a sustainable future.
That's why CODESPA's Youth Entrepreneurship Project exists—not to replace their determination, but to strengthen it through training, mentorship, access to finance, and connections to markets.

Together, we can help turn effort into opportunity and ambition into lasting livelihoods.

Help us continue opening doors. Donate today through the link in our bio.

For many young people in Cazenga, Huíla, Cunene, and Khoisan communities in southern Angola, hard work begins early—at a family stall, on a small farm, or tending livestock.

What is often missing is not effort, but access: tools, knowledge, mentorship, financing, and market connections.
That is what CODESPA’s Youth Entrepreneurship Project is designed to provide.

For many young people, the future feels wide open.
In Angola, that same sense of possibility can feel out of reach—not because young people lack determination, but because too few have access to the investment, tools, and connections they need to move forward.

Every young person deserves the chance to look ahead with hope and build a future of their own. This month, we are opening more doors to opportunity. Join us. 🌱

None of this happens without you. Every training session, every new business, every child back in school — it's powered by people who believe in opportunity over charity. To everyone walking this path with the families of Pastaza: Thank you for helping communities build their own future. This is your impact, too. 💚

Keep the momentum going — support more communities through the link in our bio.
