Introducing the Board’s newest member, Kristina!

Kristina is serving as our Secretary & Treasurer for the Baltimore / Washington Chapter. She is going to be key in maintaining official chapter records, contracts, meeting histories, and corporate documentation. And of course will be helping to make sure we stay on budget.

“My name is Kristina and I’m a Baltimore, MD native. I’m mom to three beautiful girls and a tabby cat named Angel. After my start in architectural design, I determined that architecture is not my passion and worked in sales for many years before transitioning to kitchen and bath design. I’ve been in kitchen and bath design for five years and now working at MidSouth Building Supply. I look forward to many more years in this industry.

When I’m not designing, I love to make floral arrangements, work out in the gym, or hike a trail on a crisp fall morning. I look forward to making pottery and world travel a future hobby as well.”

Make sure to take a moment to say hello to Kristina at the next chapter event you see her at.

Meet Kirsten Gable, Communication Chair ✨

As a Project Designer and Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, Kirsten brings a passion for design, creativity, and connection to her role as Communication Chair for the NKBA Baltimore-Washington Chapter. With a background that spans design, marketing, showroom experiences, social media, and industry engagement, she loves finding new ways to connect our members and share the incredible work happening within our design community.

Outside of the world of kitchens and baths, Kirsten is always dreaming up her next adventure ✈️. She loves traveling, exploring new cities, experiencing different cultures, and—when the opportunity arises—dancing the night away at a music festival 🎶✨. Whether she’s designing a space, planning a trip, discovering new music, or creating memories with her family, she brings the same curiosity, energy, and creativity to everything she does.

As Communication Chair, Kirsten is excited to help amplify the chapter’s events, members, accomplishments, and opportunities while keeping our community connected, engaged, and inspired. 💫

Let’s meet Georgia.

Elected as our Chapter President, Georgia serves as the primary executive leader and member advocate for us. Taking the reins of this motley crue she takes her passion for connecting people and supporting the design community to provide overall vision, direction, and as a liaison between our local chapter and national!

With over 28 years as an interior designer, Georgia loves creating beautiful, functional spaces—especially cabinetry-focused rooms and bringing creative ideas to life! When she’s not designing or leading, you’ll find her enjoying family and friends, volunteering at her church, playing pickleball, or getting in a good workout! 🏓💪🎨

She doesn’t bite so make sure to say hello the next time you see her!
