July is UV Safety Awareness Month, a reminder that protecting your skin is an important part of preventive health.

Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation can damage skin cells, increase the risk of skin cancer, and contribute to premature aging. Fortunately, simple habits—like checking the UV Index, wearing sunscreen, seeking shade, and using protective clothing—can make a meaningful difference.

Health education plays a vital role in helping individuals make informed decisions that support long-term well-being.
