USU members always prove to be dedicated change agents for their communities. Forbes conducted a survey for 50,000 participants who work for employers with at least 1,000 employees. UAB - The University of Alabama at Birmingham ranked top 5, # 4 to be exact, for best employer for diversity in the nation!! University of Central Florida also ranked among the top 25! Great work from our USU member IUPUI on studying the impact of coronavirus on teachers and other school personnel. Their study examines secondary trauma, the psychological burden experienced by people who work with vulnerable populations, especially during times of crisis.

The effort focuses on the harmful psychological burdens placed upon school personnel who work with vulnerable children, especially in times of crisis.
