After more than 14 years of supporting youth development and cross-cultural collaboration between the U.S. and West Africa, the Board of Directors of The Unite Foundation has made the decision to responsibly close the organization.
All remaining assets went to a final grant to our Togolese partner, YMCA Togo, to develop a comprehensive impact evaluation and final camp alumni gathering, consistent with the core intent to support youth leadership in West Africa. We will share the results of their evaluation with you and with other organizations working toward these shared goals.
We want to thank you—our donors and supporters—for making everything possible. Your generosity has touched hundreds of lives, created meaningful educational and leadership opportunities, and helped build lasting bridges of friendship and learning.
