In July, more than 140 MILLION Americans were under active heat alerts. Air pollution from oil and gas kills more than 90,000 people across the United States each year. Yet Trump’s U.S. EPA administrator Lee Zeldin is attempting to strip carbon pollution standards from fossil plants in another huge giveaway to his fossil fuel buddies.

We will not accept this! Watch USCAN's Director of Climate Policy and Advocacy, Sriram Madhusoodanan, testify against the repeal at today’s public hearing.

Climate Week was a lot of talk. (If we got a dollar every time someone said "innovation" "affordability" "clean tech"...) Words matter, but ultimately mean nothing without a commitment to justice.

At USCAN, we’re committed to putting frontline communities at the center of climate action. Here’s how we showed up at this year:
🌎 Dug deep into strategy at our in-person coalition meeting
🎬 Hosted a screening of Earth’s Greatest Enemy
💬 Engaged elected officials on advancing climate action at the state and local levels
🤝 Connected with funders and partners to build power for climate justice
💚 Listened and learned from movement leaders

To our members and allies: thank you for showing up, speaking out, and pushing this movement forward. We’re so grateful to be in this work with you 💚

Frontline communities, New York’s Nepali diaspora, and climate justice campaigners outside the UN this morning! ✊

A better world can't be built behind closed doors. LISTEN to and CENTER communities bearing the brunt of the climate crisis — they are already leading the way to justice.

Thank you to all the organizers!

Buckle up, y’all. Things are getting bad. AND. We’re still in this.

🚨 Last week, published a report all but confirming that we'll soon exceed 1.5°C of global warming. (Check out ’s Substack for a great summary)

⚠️ Today, repealed carbon pollution limits for fossil fuel power plants.

Things are getting bad. AND. We’re still in this. We fight for those who 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 have the luxury of giving up.
