The Youth Summit Roll Call keeps growing! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome even more chapters to the 2026 National PAL Youth Summit, including Flint PAL, Pinellas PAL, Positivity And Love Mentoring, and SYF-Palmdale!

A huge shoutout to all of the chapters registered so far. We can’t wait to see our PAL youth come together in Washington, DC for a week of growth, connection, leadership, and unforgettable memories.

In a powerful conversation on WABC Radio (), former PAL youth participant and radio host Dominic Carter sat down with National PAL CEO Steve Coan to discuss the impact PAL programs have on young people and communities across the country.

Their conversation touched on the importance of building positive relationships between youth and law enforcement, especially since officers are often among the first people to respond when children are experiencing difficult situations at home. Creating those connections early helps build trust, mentorship, and support long before a crisis occurs.

The interview also spotlighted the incredible work happening at Bronx PAL, including a recent partnership with the New York Knicks that brought youth, community, and opportunity together through a special event.

As President and CEO of RCX Sports, Inc., Izell Reese is passionate about creating opportunities for young people through sports, mentorship, and positive community engagement.

His connection to National PAL is deeply personal. Several of Izell’s former teammates were involved with PAL programs, giving him firsthand insight into the impact these organizations have on youth and communities. That experience helped inspire his commitment to serving on the National PAL Board of Directors and supporting the organization’s mission nationwide.

Today, Izell continues to use his leadership experience in sports and business to help expand opportunities for youth, strengthen communities, and ensure the next generation has the tools they need to succeed.

We are grateful for his dedication, leadership, and service to National PAL.

From a renovated game room to the NBA Finals!

The recently celebrated the grand reopening of the game room at Bronx PAL, creating an exciting space where young people can connect, play, and build community. Now, with the Knicks making noise in the NBA Finals, the inspiration comes full circle.

Partnerships like these remind us that when professional sports teams invest in local youth, they’re helping create opportunities that extend far beyond the court.
