🌳 To celebrate our 35th anniversary, we’re sharing 35 facts about Franciscan Mission Service through our Mission Monday series!

⛪ This week, learn more about mission appeals! In the summer, representatives from FMS visit parishes throughout the United States and share about our work as part of the Church’s universal call to mission. We are so grateful to be invited to share our stories with churches across the country and to invite people to support our continuing mission work.

👋 If FMS visits your parish for a mission appeal this summer, be sure to say “hello” to us!

🤝 This week, learn more about support raising! While all Christians have a universal call to mission, not everyone can serve internationally. FMS missioners invite others to support them while they serve on mission. During Lay Missioner Formation, FMS provides support and training to help missioners with support raising. Many missioners consider support raising a fruitful part of their mission experience, as it allows friends and family to accompany them on their ministry.

👋 Do you feel called to serve as a lay missioner? Apply today for our Lay Mission Program! Visit our website to learn more and to apply! Follow along to learn more about FMS!
