A significant factor in the passage of the Mikayla Naylon Give Kids A Chance Act is the participation of our youth advocates in Zoom meetings, particularly during the pandemic, which proved to be extremely effective. It also gave advocates the opportunity to be involved from their homes.

🎗️ Happy 24th Birthday to childhood cancer survivor Johnny Volpe! 🎗️

Today we celebrate an incredible young man whose journey continues to inspire us all.

At just seven years old, Johnny faced Pre-B Cell Lymphoma with remarkable courage and determination that amazed everyone around him. Through two years of intense chemotherapy, spinal and cranial radiation, and countless days in the hospital, Johnny's spirit never dimmed.

It's been 15 years since Johnny completed his treatment in 2011, and throughout this time, he has dedicated himself to advocating for other children facing similar battles.

The Volpe family cherishes Johnny's continued health, and they embrace his new "normal life" with gratitude and hope.

As Johnny turns 24 today, we're not just celebrating another birthday, we're celebrating his resilience, compassion, and the positive impact he continues to make in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Happy 24th Birthday, Johnny! 🎗️
