Help us pick up trash and enjoy beautiful views with our plogging cleanup along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail! Plogging is the practice of cleaning up litter while jogging (though jogging is not required to participate). We will be covering a 2-mile stretch between Kenilworth Park and the Anacostia Park Roller Skating Rink! We will meet in the front parking lot of the skating rink. ⁠

Friday Night Fishing is back next Friday! Whether you're a seasoned expert or have never fished before, we'd love for you to join us. Bait, tackle, and rods will be provided, and a member of our team will be there to help teach you how to fish!

We are on our second week of Anacostia Watershed Water Quality Monitoring! Here is the water quality information from Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026. It has been dry recently, and we are seeing drought conditions in the DC area. That being said, please avoid contact with the water for 72 hours after rain! We will be collecting data bi-weekly for all sites. ⁠
