Life with lupus or any other autoimmune disease can be very difficult. Probably the most difficult part of living with lupus is the challenge of being "sick" while often looking perfectly fine. Which is why I've started my organization called *Silent Screams*. This organization will be used strictly to raise awareness, provide support and direction to other suffers and family member of those are suffering in silence. An estimated 1.5 million Americans suffer from lupus, making the disease more common than leukemia, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and cystic fibrosis. The exact cause of Lupus is unknown
Lupus has no cure. But it does have support!!
