Attention Scholars: Do you know a rising 11th grader who attends Anacostia HS, Ballou HS, HD Woodson HS, Friendship Collegiate Academy, or Thurgood Marshall Academy? Encourage them to apply for the DC Achievers Scholarship! It opened today!!!! It's a scholarship that's worth up to $11,400 for the next 4-5 years of college.

The Achievers Scholarship Program was generously funded in 2007 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. To date it has provided college readiness, mentoring and support, as well as scholarship financial aid to hundreds of low-income youth in the District of Columbia.
