This Mental Health Awareness Month, Whistleblowers of America shines a light on the profound psychological toll of standing up for what is right. Choosing truth over silence often comes with retaliation, isolation, and severe moral injury—challenges that no one should have to navigate alone. We want every whistleblower to know that your anxiety, hypervigilance, and trauma are valid responses to an invalidating system. True accountability cannot exist without psychosocial support, and we remain dedicated to providing the peer mentoring, resources, and community needed to help you heal, recover, and reclaim your well-being. You spoke up for others; let us stand up for you.
