Dear Student,
Kaplan is pleased to announce the addition of a valuable new learning opportunity to your USMLE study program. Guided Study Sessions will be scheduled in the next few weeks.
These sessions have been created based on student feedback and will be focused around three main goals:
1. To review and discuss high-yield topics in a group setting
2. To provide guided practice in applying content knowledge to test-like questions
3. To provide opportunities for you to practice presenting medical information to peers
These sessions are a required part of the Kaplan Health Licensing Prep curriculum and attendance is Mandatory. Kaplan will track your attendance at these sessions in accordance with the Kaplan attendance policy for I-20 students and failure to attend will result in dismissal from Kaplan and termination in SEVIS.
To help you better understand the purpose and requirements for these guided study sessions, we will be hosting a meeting for all students on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2012 at 2 pm. We encourage you to attend this meeting so that you're fully prepared to start attending these sessions.
We look forward to seeing you in our upcoming sessions and are excited about how this new learning opportunity will assist you on your path to residency.
If you have any questions about this new requirement, please contact either me to discuss, otherwise I will see you on Monday at our MANDATORY MEETING.
