The focus of the 2024 IMPACT FUND grant will be in the area of promoting mental health education. While all of our communities face mental health challenges, Black communities often deal with more discrimination, and can receive compromised care. The lack of education and resources are not available in the Black community when it comes to mental health. The 2024 IMPACT FUND grant will be awarded to the nominated nonprofit organization that best exemplifies, in the eyes of the Foundation membership, “Breaking the Stigma of Mental Health in the Black Community”.
