Consortium for Ocean Leadership

Consortium for Ocean Leadership The Consortium for Ocean Leadership advances research, education and sound ocean policy.

09/30/2022

After many years of working on behalf of the ocean, ocean scientists, and science-based policy, the Consortium for Ocean Leadership will be permanently closing its doors today. Thank you to all who have been part of our community. While COL is gone, you can (and should!) still stay in touch with our programs like National Ocean Sciences Bowl at their new home, NCAR + UCAR - Atmospheric & Earth System Science. COL may be no more, but we all hope our work in support of the ocean will persist!

We will also be taking time internally to discuss the ways anti-Black racism impacts our lives and what actions non-Black staff can take to better support our Black colleagues in ocean science and beyond.
