The Mid-Atlantic Region of the National Black Law Students Association (MABLSA)

This past June, the MABLSA 59 Executive Board came together to connect, align on our goals, and prepare for a successful year of service. Together, we strengthened our vision, clarified our roles, and laid the foundation for a collaborative and impactful administration.

We’re proud to share that we’ve already secured a $10,000 donation toward our $50,000 fundraising goal. A special shoutout to Khadijatu (khadi) for raising the first $500 and helping us build early momentum. We are also incredibly grateful to our past Regional Chair, Fanta, for pouring into this administration and sharing her wisdom with us.

Thank you to Taft for hosting us and supporting the future of Black law students. 🖤💚❤️

✨ History was made. ✨

Last year’s 58th MABLSA Convention marked our first in-person convention since the pandemic, bringing together law students, attorneys, judges, and legal professionals from across the Mid-Atlantic for a weekend centered on connection, growth, and excellence.

From inspiring panels and meaningful networking to celebrating our culture and community, this convention reminded us why MABLSA is more than an organization, it’s a family.

A special thank you to our Regional Chair, Mecca Vance, and the entire 58th Administration for your vision, dedication, and countless hours of work in making this historic convention a tremendous success. Your leadership has left a lasting impact on our region, and we are incredibly grateful to build on the foundation you all laid.

Here’s to honoring the legacy of MABLSA 58 and carrying that momentum into the future. 🖤⚖️

As the 25-26 school year comes to an end, MABLSA Chapters are hosting their final GBM and end of the year banquets!

This week Madam Chair visited to celebrate their end of the year accomplishments! Congratulations to President Tania Boh and the entire UBalt BLSA for 50 amazing years of BLSA!

MABLSA is stronger when we are in person, on the ground, and supporting our local chapters. This is just the beginning of our MIGHTY MABLSA resurgence!

ANEA MOORE FOR NATIONAL CHAIR

The Mid Atlantic Region of the Black Law Students Association is excited to endorse Anea Moore for National Chair of NBLSA 59!

Anea has dedicated her time in law school to strengthening NBLSA. She has already served as Secretary during NBLSA 57 and Chief of Staff on NBLSA 58.

Anea is a 2L at University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School!
