Found in a forgotten drawer on a thumb drive full of mostly corrupted files, we found these gems from the school's 2016 production of Into the Woods. The Priory Players still do a fall musical. Last week, The Abbey held Career Day 2026! Twelve alumni returned to the school to speak to the juniors and seniors about their careers and the steps they took to get there. Before the sessions began, Fr. Samuel took a moment to remind the students of the importance of finding a vocation in life as well.

Duff Pickering, '80, recently completed a 254-mile, 29-day hike in California's High Sierra wilderness with his son, Christopher. Their northbound route included all 211 miles of the famous John Muir Trail, from the 14,505' summit of Mt. Whitney to Yosemite National Park. Most of the 254 miles were above 10,000' of elevation, and all of them with 40 lb. packs. Duff and Christopher took this photo upon the successful completion of their hike in Yosemite.

Graduation isn't the end of learning at The Abbey! This Saturday, September 26, at 3:00 PM, St. Anselm's is hosting the 52nd Thomas Verner Moore Lecture. Cardinal Robert McElroy will be speaking on "Pope Leo's Encyclical Magnifica Humanitas and the Renewal of Catholic Social Doctrine".

A reception with light refreshments will follow.
