We're filled with pride and gratitude for the incredible strides made through our Credible Messenger Initiative. Our dedicated team of 3 Transformative Mentors and 3 Family Engagement Specialists have been hard at work, and the results speak volumes about the resilience and potential of the youth we serve.
Here's a snapshot of our achievements:
📚 Education Empowerment: 10 remarkable youths have been enrolled in prestigious educational institutions, including Ballou STAY, Luke C. Moore Academy, Goodwill Excel Center, Roosevelt Stay, Maya Angelou, and BARD Collegiate Highschool. Their journey towards academic excellence has just begun, and we couldn't be prouder.
🏠 Stepping Towards Independence: 2 inspiring young individuals have been accepted into the Independent Living Program, marking a significant step towards self-reliance and adulting with confidence.
🆔 Identity Affirmation: 2 of our youths have successfully obtained their Identification Cards, a fundamental step in accessing services and opportunities.
🕊️ Restorative Steps: 3 youths have completed restorative mediation, embracing the power of healing and reconciliation.
🧠 Healing from Stress: One youth has completed the SPARCS Program, navigating the complexities of chronic stress with newfound resilience.
These milestones reflect not just the hard work of our team and the youths, but also the strength of a community that believes in transformation and second chances.
