Rising Sun is a traditional baptist church with a "down home" feel. Mitchell, Rising Sun believes and teaches the doctrine of Jesus Christ. We worship and glorify God for loving and redeeming us, and we share His word and love with others. Our close-knit congregation worships together, fellowships together and serves the members of our community through prayer, a variety of service programs, and

the example of Christ we show through our daily lives. Located in the Woodridge community of our Nation's Capital, Rising Sun is a place of worship, healing, outreach and love. Rising Sun is a little church with BIG heart and we'd love to have you worship with us!
