πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ 50+ Years of Advocacy. One Stronger Future. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

For more than five decades, EANGUS has been the voice of the enlisted National Guardβ€”fighting for better benefits, retirement equity, healthcare improvements, education opportunities, family support, and legislative victories that directly impact Soldiers, Airmen, retirees, and their families.

Every major success started with members who believed their voice mattered.

Now it's your turn.

βœ… If you're not a member, join today and become part of the organization that continues to shape the future of the National Guard.

βœ… If you're already a member, help us grow our collective voice by recruiting just ONE new member. Imagine the impact if every EANGUS member brought in one fellow Soldier, Airman, retiree, family member, or supporter.

πŸ“’ Challenge: Share this post and invite one person to join EANGUS today.

πŸ”— Visit eangus.org/join and select your state to learn more about membership opportunities, state association benefits, and any membership incentives available in your area. Become a member of both EANGUS and your state association to maximize your impact and support.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we are the voice of the enlisted National Guard.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ EVERY DAY IN UNIFORM SHOULD COUNT

National Guard Soldiers and Airmen answer the call whenever our state and nation need themβ€”whether it’s responding to natural disasters, supporting overseas operations, protecting communities at home, or maintaining readiness through training and drills.

Yet many of those days in uniform do not currently count toward Post-9/11 GI Bill eligibility.

The Guard & Reserve GI Bill Parity Act seeks to ensure that weekend drills, annual training, and qualifying state and federal service count toward earned education benefits. The goal is simple: Every Day in Uniform Counts. (EANGUS)

🏁 THE RACE TO DAYTONA JUST GOT INTERESTING! 🏁

For the first time since the green flag dropped, we have a new leader!

California has surged into 1st place with 351 laps, edging out Georgia's 347 laps by just FOUR members. With a margin that small, every new member matters and the battle for Daytona is officially on!

Since the launch of the Race to Daytona membership drive, EANGUS members across the nation have recruited more than **1,050 new members** into our Association. That's not just a leaderboard statisticβ€”that's 1,050 additional voices advocating for National Guard service members, retirees, veterans, and their families.

Every new member strengthens our ability to fight for better benefits, improved readiness, quality healthcare, retirement protections, and legislative victories that impact the entire Guard community.

The race isn't just about crossing the finish line first - it's about building the strongest enlisted voice possible.

Can California hold off Georgia? Will Texas make a run at the leaders? Which state will make the next big move?

Recruit. Engage. Grow.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Happy Flag Day from EANGUS! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Today we honor the Stars and Stripes - the enduring symbol of our Nation, our freedoms, and the generations of Americans who have answered the call to serve.

For members of the National Guard, the flag represents more than fabric and colors. It symbolizes every deployment, every mission, every community protected, and every oath taken in service to our country. From Lexington and Concord to today's Guardsmen serving at home and abroad, the American flag remains a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made to preserve liberty.

As we celebrate Flag Day, take a moment to reflect on what our flag represents: unity, resilience, service, and the promise of freedom for future generations.

To all who have served under our Nation's colors - and to those currently standing the watch - thank you.

One Flag. One Nation. One Team.

πŸŽ‰πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Army! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŽ‰

For 251 years, the United States Army has stood as a symbol of strength, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our nation. From the fields of the American Revolution to today's missions around the globe, generations of Soldiers have answered the call to defend freedom, protect our homeland, and serve with honor.

On this Army Birthday, EANGUS proudly joins our Army National Guard and Active Duty Army brothers and sisters in celebrating a legacy built on duty, courage, and selfless service. We honor those who came before us, those serving today, and the future generations who will continue to carry the torch.

To every Soldier past and present - thank you for your service, your sacrifices, and your dedication to our nation.

251 Years Strong. One Team. One Fight. This We'll Defend.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ EANGUS Supports LP291: Strengthening the Future of the National Guard Workforce

The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) has formally expressed its support for Legislative Proposal 291 (LP291), a workforce modernization initiative aimed at improving readiness, retention, and career opportunities across the National Guard.

For decades, Dual-Status Military Technicians have been a critical part of our force. However, today’s National Guard is an operational force that requires personnel systems capable of meeting evolving mission demands at home and abroad.

LP291 seeks to:
βœ… Improve workforce stability
βœ… Expand AGR and Title 5 opportunities
βœ… Retain highly skilled and experienced personnel
βœ… Strengthen readiness across the force
βœ… Preserve critical institutional knowledge

As Congress considers the FY27 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), EANGUS remains committed to advocating for policies that support Soldiers, Airmen, and their families while ensuring the National Guard remains ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient National Guard for future generations.
