Emgage Action is excited to announce our official endorsement of State Rep. Angie Nixon for Florida's U.S. Senate seat.

Since the moment she was first elected, Rep. Nixon has been a consistent and courageous voice for justice. She has never wavered on the issues that matter most to our community, not when it was easy and not when it was hard. She was one of the first voices in Florida to call for a ceasefire and demand an end to the genocide in Gaza. She has been a relentless champion on voting rights, fighting back against redistricting efforts designed to silence our communities. She has pushed for affordable housing and has consistently shown up for working families across Florida throughout her time in office.

This past legislative session, she continued that same fight, standing strong against dangerous police state bills and the inflammatory proposal to rename the West Bank as "Judea and Samaria." She delivered powerful speeches on the House floor and refused to stay silent when our values were under attack.

We have no doubt that Rep. Nixon will bring that same fearless and principled leadership to the U.S. Senate. It's time we send unapologetically brilliant, justice driven leaders to Washington who will champion our communities without compromise.

Emgage Action is heartbroken by the targeted shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego and the tragic loss of three Muslim lives.

No one should fear for their life in a place of worship. This attack must be treated with the seriousness it deserves, and leaders at every level must confront the anti-Muslim hate that puts our communities at risk.

These twelve student chapter leads are change-makers who already lead on their campuses. Each chapter will host events, run advocacy campaigns, and give students access to elected officials and paid leadership opportunities.

Today marks 78 years since the Nakba, the mass displacement and dispossession of Palestinians in 1948.

For Palestinians, the Nakba is not just history. It is an ongoing reality seen through continued displacement, home demolitions, settlement expansion, movement restrictions, and military occupation.

As Rep. Rashida Tlaib introduces H.Res. 409 recognizing the ongoing Nakba and affirming Palestinian rights, we urge our communities to take action.
