We’re thrilled to share our key leadership updates:

DeAngelo Hall joins as Vice President of Football Operations, leading talent identification, capability building, and advancement strategies.

New Board of Directors Appointments:
• Ran Carthon – Former GM, Tennessee Titans
• Martin Mayhew – Former GM, Detroit Lions & Washington Commanders
• Jacques McClendon – VP, Football Coaches & Executives Operations at WIN Sports Group

Leadership Transition:
• Michele Meyer-Shipp officially transitions to Executive Director.
• Kyle Bowser steps in as Board Chair.

Today we celebrate Hall of Famer John Stallworth on his birthday.

A proud Alabama A&M product, Stallworth carved out a legendary NFL career defined by consistency, resilience, and clutch performance on the game’s biggest stage. His journey from an HBCU to the Pro Football Hall of Fame remains a powerful example of excellence and impact.

Real change requires real strategy. This past week at the Black Sports Business Symposium, our very own Michele C. Meyer-Shipp, Esq. delivered a powerful workshop titled "Breaking the Huddle: Black Talent in Football." Drawing from her extensive executive leadership experience, Michele challenged the industry to think critically about accountability, mentorship, and sustainable pipelines for Black talent in coaching and executive roles.

We are also incredibly proud to share that Michele was recognized as the 2026 Advocate of the Year at the event!
