What do senior executives gain from C-Suite Academy? 🧠

Access to what most leadership programs miss.

At C-Suite Academy, your growth is focused on three critical areas:

🔹 Enterprise Level Lens: Strengthen your ability to think beyond your function and lead with a broader view of organizational complexity. Challenge the assumptions that may be limiting your strategic perspective and expand how you make decisions.

🔹 C-Suite Readiness: Gain practical tools and insight from leaders who have been in the role. From executive compensation conversations to navigating visibility and influence, you will sharpen the skills that position you for advancement.

Moments in ELC History. 🏆

A legacy that continues to shape the future.

In 1998, The ELC renamed its Heritage Award to honor its founder, Alvaro L. Martins, recognizing his vision and lasting impact on the organization. The Alvaro L. Martins Heritage Award stands as a tribute to his leadership as the first President and CEO and his commitment to advancing excellence in business.

This distinguished honor celebrates individuals whose lifetime achievements have created meaningful progress and opened doors for others in the corporate landscape.

In recent years, these leaders have carried that legacy forward:
🏆 2021 - Tyler Perry and Brenda J. Lauderback
🏆 2023 - Arlene Isaacs-Lowe
🏆 2024 - D. Keith Pigues
🏆 2025 - Ronald C. Parker (Posthumously Honored)

The ELC also expanded this legacy through the Alvaro L. Martins Scholarship, created to invest in the next generation of leaders. The scholarship honors his enduring impact by supporting high achieving male students pursuing degrees in business, management, and related fields who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to excellence.

Through moments like these, The ELC continues to honor its foundation while building pathways for future leadership.

Leadership Hot Take 🔥

A promotion changes more than your title. It changes your role entirely.

You move from doing the work to being responsible for the work. From having answers to making decisions without all of them. From focusing on yourself to carrying a team.

That shift is not always talked about enough.

Do most professionals really understand what leadership demands before they pursue it. Or are we equating growth with title instead of responsibility?
