We’re bringing Trans 101: Ask Me Anything for Allies online.

This session was originally planned as part of Trans Pride, and we were saddened that it couldn’t happen as scheduled due to circumstances outside of our control. We’re grateful to still be able to offer this space virtually for anyone who wants to learn, ask questions, and show up more thoughtfully for trans people.

Join us for a beginner-friendly conversation about trans identities, respectful language, common questions from allies, and practical ways to offer support.

Rain or shine, Transmasc Social Hour is still on tonight! 🌧️✨

We’ve got two covered cabanas reserved at Wundergarten under Deck South, so we’ll have a dry spot to hang out even with a little rain.

How to find us: When you enter Wundergarten, turn left immediately and you’ll see the reserved cabanas.

This is a social event for transmasc folks, including trans men, nonbinary, gender diverse, and questioning people.

Plus ones of any gender are welcome as guests, but please be mindful that this space centers transmasc people.

An open, honest conversation for transmasculine people exploring whether phalloplasty may be right for them, featuring personal experiences from people who have been through the process.

Support Group for Cis Partners of Transmasculine People
A facilitated space for cis partners of transmasculine people to connect, process experiences, and find community support.

Trans 101: Ask Me Anything for Allies
A beginner-friendly session for allies and community members who want to better understand trans identities, language, and how to show up with respect and support.

Zine Your Gender
A hands-on creative session where participants can make zines exploring gender, identity, and self-expression.

This Sunday: Transmasc Society’s monthly Transmasc Discussion Group.

May’s topic is fashion: personal style, navigating gender expression through clothing, finding clothes that fit and feel affirming, access and affordability, dress codes, and how fashion can shift across transition and over time.

This is a facilitated, virtual space for transmasculine folks to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Open to transmasc people in all locations, ages 16+.

Join us for our next Trans Community Night! - a collective gathering for the local trans community across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Come spend the evening with us in community with games, food, music, trans vendors, and community chats. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, or just be in a space made for us, we’d love to have you there.

This is a collaborative event, and there are lots of ways for community members and allies to participate.

TRANS BUSINESSES AND CREATORS:
We’re offering a limited number of free vendor spots for trans-owned businesses, artists, and creators to showcase their work. There is no cost to participate. If you’re interested, email [email protected] with a little information about your business and what you’d like to showcase.

SPONSORS AND ALLIES:
We’re looking for in-kind donations of food and drink, as well as monetary support, to help keep this event free and accessible. Donations will help us cover things like food, drinks, and ASL interpretation, and all donations are tax deductible. To support, email [email protected] or send a monetary donation via Venmo .

COMMUNITY MEMBERS:
We’re also inviting folks to help host informal affinity group chats during the event. These are casual opportunities for people to connect with others who share similar experiences. Ideas could include Black, Latinx, and AAPI community chats, 35+, late-in-life trans folks, federal employees, and more. If you’d like to host one, reach out to [email protected].

Join the DC Area Transmasculine Society this Sunday on Zoom for a peer-facilitated discussion about transitioning in the workplace.

This discussion group is open to transmasc folks located anywhere, will be held in English, and will include ASL interpretation.

Join us for Volunteer Day to learn about the DMV Trans Guide and help us build it out. Trans folks and cis allies welcome. For more info and to RSVP, click the link in our bio and visit our Events page.

The DMV Trans Guide is a community resource for finding and reviewing trans-affirming businesses, social groups, organizations, and services across our region. It is not just about trans-competent medical care. It is also about helping trans people find places where we can be respected, supported, and thrive in all aspects of life — something that feels especially important right now.

We’ll begin with an overview of what the guide is and how to use it, then break into small groups where volunteers can help by leaving reviews, adding new entries, and building up the resource.

We’re also excited to hear new ideas and connect with folks who may want to help keep this resource sustainable long-term.

Come hang out, grab a drink or bite 🍹🍔, and connect with others in a cozy, welcoming space made for our community.

When you enter, turn right and walk past the bar — you’ll see our room under the rainbow-colored ceiling 🌈

March Topic: Transformation Through Fitness

Guest speaker: Chris Sherman, local DC trainer (Thrive as You Are)

This month’s discussion will focus on transformation through fitness — including movement, strength, body changes, motivation, access to fitness spaces, dysphoria and euphoria related to exercise, and redefining fitness on your own terms.

This conversation is not about goals or expectations, but about how movement, fitness, and physical activity can intersect with identity, transition, and well-being in different ways.
