⚠️Urgent advocacy action needed! The House Appropriations Committee will begin marking up the FY27 Department of Education funding bill in early June.

The President’s proposed budget will eliminate key programs, including:
Title III - English Language Acquisition
Title VI - Fulbright-Hays

The budget also consolidated Title II-A and Title IV-A (among others) into single block grants. In addition, the “skinny budget” would consolidate or cut 17 other K-12 education programs across the Department.

Language advocates have no time to lose! We urge you to join us in contacting your Senators and Representatives immediately to demand that ED funding be restored.
