We had the privilege of serving meals to our homeless brothers and sisters in Washington, DC.

The menu included rice with mixed vegetables and chicken, along with boiled eggs, bananas, oranges, cookies, pastries, coffee, water, and juice. In addition to the meals, we distributed canned food items, protein bars, masks, dental floss, as well as clothing and shoes.

We were grateful to be joined by a wonderful family of new volunteers who took part in this effort. They shared how meaningful the experience was and expressed their eagerness to join us again.

A heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers for their support and dedication. Together, we were able to serve approximately 90 individuals.

We had another wonderful opportunity to serve our homeless brothers and sisters in Washington, DC last Sunday. As always, we provided hot meals. Our menu included chickpeas with chicken and mixed vegetables, along with yellow rice.

In addition, we distributed cookies, pastries, bread, snacks, water, coffee, juice and fresh fruits. We also handed out gently used clothing and shoes for men, women and children in various sizes.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this meaningful and compassionate effort. Your support truly makes a difference.

Assalamualikum,
we resumed our homeless food distribution program after taking a break during Ramadan. We were welcomed by a long line of individuals waiting to be served, and it was truly heartwarming to be back.

We served around 110 hot meals, with a menu that included chickpeas with mixed vegetables and yellow rice. In addition to meals, we distributed canned food items, clothing for men, women, and children, as well as fruits, snacks, juice, water, and coffee. Everyone was served, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support our community.

We were also joined by new volunteers, including children who enthusiastically took part in this good deed.

As we continue, we plan to be at McPherson Square Park in DC every Sunday at 9:30 AM.

Since it’s spring break, we encourage you to bring your children along and involve them in this noble cause, helping them learn gratitude and compassion.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to continuing this effort together and earning rewards.

Alhamdulillah, last Sunday we were once again blessed with the opportunity to serve our homeless brothers and sisters. Despite the extremely cold weather, many people were still waiting in line hungry and hopeful to be served.

Our dedicated volunteers showed up with full commitment and compassion. Their efforts not only provided warm meals but also brought smiles to many faces.

JazakAllah Khair to all our volunteers who prepared, delivered, and distributed the meals among those in need. Your time, sacrifice, and sincerity truly make a difference. May Allah reward you abundantly and accept it from all of us. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah 🤍 We had the honor of serving over 90 hot meals to our homeless brothers and sisters in Washington, D.C. 🌙✨

From brown rice with chickpeas and meatballs to fresh fruits, pastries, and snacks, every plate served was a reminder of the deep need that surrounds us and the blessings we often take for granted.

A huge Jazakum Allahu Khairan to all the volunteers who gave their time, hands, and hearts. May Allah accept it and multiply your reward. Ameen. 🤲🏼

Allah says in the Qur’an:
“And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, [saying], ‘We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.’”
~ (Surah Al-Insan 76:8–9)

Every plate served, every smile shared, every hand extended it counts. Let’s continue striving to serve people, for the sake of Allah. 🌻

Alhamdulillah, last week we spent time with our homeless brothers and sisters in Washington, D.C., sharing pastries, fruit, hot coffee, water, and warm clothing to help them through the winter. Around 80 individuals were served, and the gratitude on their faces reminded us that even small acts of kindness can bring great comfort.

“Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment.”

May Allah reward every volunteer, donor, and supporter, and allow us to continue serving with sincerity, compassion, and humility.
JazakAllahu Khair 🤍
