By voting against moving to a floor vote for the ERA, opponents are denying our country legal tools to increase protections against s*x-based violence and discrimination. Let us be clear, we will not rest until the 28th Amendment is finally in our Constitution.

❤️ "Here's a few things to keep in mind for accessible organizing:

1. If organizing an in-person event, communicate accessibility (including elevator or ramp availability) and public transit options.

2. When organizing online events or trainings, include options for closed captioning. It is also helpful to record sessions for those unable to join live (such as parents, students, and others with tight schedules!)

3. Avoid jargon and don't assume everybody knows certain phrases or acronyms (such as TERF)."

Every year, women overall lose millions of dollars because of the gender and race pay gaps, harming their ability to pay for basic necessities and build wealth.

While we are making strides, pay gaps persist. Black, Latina, Native American, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders women are overrepresented in industries that are underpaid and suffer from the greatest pay inequities.

Farmworkers, domestic workers, migrant, seasonal, and part-time workers continue to be left out of critical employment protections.

Many workers are vulnerable to wage theft and s*xual harassment and lack paid time off.
