Since its initial start as Mavericks Sports Club our team is proud of our ‘all are welcome’ policy towards cricket enthusiasts, feel free to reach out to Mavericks Sports Foundation, we welcome all skill levels and create opportunities for all players to participate free of charge? At this point, we are welcoming cricket players from Washington Metro Area (Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC) or if you are ready to travel to the DC area for hardball cricket T20 Cricket (White Ball) One day version of ODI 40 Overs (Red Ball). Cricket activities and season in DC/Northern Virginia start in April and last almost till October. League games are played during weekends and on some occasions, short tournaments are played on Friday nights, and few cricket practice sessions indoors on weekday evenings.
