The garden has many small gifts that we may overlook daily. In the small gardens on Capitol Hill, see what August blooms catch your eye. What leaf speaks to you? It could be the texture, the variagation, the color of new growth emerging or the unique imperfections. Find a small vessel, a forgotten vase, or a recycled container - capture this gift from your garden...and share it.

This could be an interesting series to attend.

Our executive director, Mark Hudson, will be presenting at The George Washington University's D.C. Mondays series. He will be discussing how Congressional Cemetery is commemorating the 250th anniversary through programming and special events such as the Cemetery Speaker Series and Soul Strolls. This program is virtual and free to attend, but registration is required.

Find more information about the program and register at the link below.
