[Eng/Geo] Proud reflection on Georgian Days in DC 2026 🇬🇪🇺🇸

Georgian Days in Washington, DC (May 17–26, 2026), organized by Georgian Association in the USA the Georgian-American community together for an inspiring and memorable celebration of Georgian culture, history, and identity, marking the 108th anniversary of Georgia’s Independence. 🎉

Over the course of ten days, we were proud to host a diverse and engaging program, that strengthened connections within our diaspora and with our American friends and partners:

✨ The breathtaking performance of “Queen Tamar” by the Georgian National Dance Ensemble “Pesvebi”
🎖️ Presenting the GA Achievement Award to Peter Skinner (in absentia) for his exceptional contribution to Georgian Studies, followed by the honor of awarding it to him in person in New York
🇬🇪 The lively and educational Georgian Trivia Night at the Tombs in Georgetown
✍️ The remarkable Georgian Alphabet Workshop at the MLK Library, led by Irma Murvanishvili, that even captured the attention of Washington Post readers
📖 The virtual launch of the diaspora literary magazine “Ertoba” - truly a big milestone!

2026 წლის 17–26 მაისს გამართულმა „ქართული დღეებმა ვაშინგტონში“, რომელიც საქართველოს დამოუკიდებლობის 108-ე წლისთავს მიეძღვნა, ქართულ-ამერიკული თემი ქართული ისტორიის, კულტურისა და იდენტობის აღსანიშნავად გააერთიანა.
