A day for the dogs. 🐾

In honor of , we’re celebrating a few of our favorite four-legged visitors and the canine-inspired treasures that have found their way through the Op Shop.

From charming collectibles to whimsical works of art, our love for dogs has been inspiring artists (and collectors!) for centuries. And around here, the real-life pups are just as beloved. šŸ’›

In case you needed another reason to shop vintage…

recently declared what we’ve known all along: antiques and vintage furniture are back. We stand firmly that they never really left.

Case in point: this Louis XV style Bonheur du Jour. Originally designed as a writing and correspondence desk, its warm wood, graceful curves and beautiful craftsmanship bring exactly the kind of character that makes a room feel collected rather than decorated.

And unlike a passing trend, a piece like this has already stood the test of time.

A moment for the Biedermeier šŸ˜šŸŖµ

This 19th-century satinwood birch secretary dates to the Biedermeier period (circa 1815–1848), a design movement celebrated for its understated elegance, exceptional craftsmanship, and timeless appeal.

Biedermeier furniture highlighted the natural beauty of fine woods like birch, ash, cherry, and walnut, creating pieces that feel just as sophisticated today as they did more than 175 years ago.

Whether you’re a collector, a lover of European antiques, or simply searching for a statement piece with both beauty and function, this secretary is a remarkable find.
