Fathers are physically present in clinical spaces, yet often remain psychologically invisible within them.

Research suggests that approximately one in ten fathers experience symptoms consistent with Paternal Postpartum Depression during the perinatal period.

Paternal depression does not always mirror its maternal counterpart. Rather than presenting as overt sadness or withdrawal, it may manifest through irritability, anger, emotional disengagement, compulsive work patterns, or risk-taking behaviors.

Strength is too often conflated with stoicism, leaving many fathers to internalize their struggles in silence.
