მიმდინარე კვირას, აშშ-ის ელჩის მოვალეობის შემსრულებელმა ალან პერსელმა უმასპინძლა ამერიკელი ბიზნეს ხელმძღვანელების დელეგაციას და საქართველოს ბიზნესისა და სამთავრობო წრეების წარმომადგენლებს. დელეგაცია ეწვია საქართველოს, ყაზახეთსა და აზერბაიჯანს, რათა გაცნობოდა შუა დერეფნის რეგიონში არსებულ შესაძლებლობებს ვაჭრობის, ენერგეტიკის, ინფრასტრუქტურისა და ლოჯისტიკის სფეროებში. ვიზიტი განხორციელდა აშშ-ის კომერციის სამსახურის, აშშ-საქართველოს ბიზნესის საბჭოს (AGBC), აშშ-აზერბაიჯანის სავაჭრო პალატისა (USACC) და ყაზახეთში ამერიკის სავაჭრო პალატას შორის თანამშრომლობით. ეკონომიკის მინისტრი მარიამ ქვრივიშვილი დელეგაციას სადილზე შეხვდა და დაესწრო მიღებას.
