National Cancer Survivors Day is a chance to not only recognize, honor and celebrate cancer survivors and their cancer experiences, but also promote awareness of survivorship challenges.

The difficulties of a cancer diagnosis do not end when treatment ends; there can be long-term health concerns for survivors.

📢 Volunteer Spotlight: Vivaan📢

We’re thrilled to welcome one of our newest volunteers to the team! He loves dogs, enjoys trying new foods️, and has lived in multiple cities in his lifetime: Minneapolis, New York City, Miami, and Birmingham —talk about a journey!

Vivaan’s passion for cancer-related advocacy is deeply personal. After his grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, he became more aware of the realities and dangers of cancer. While he’s grateful that his grandmother is still with him, he knows not everyone is fortunate to have that outcome.

With a strong interest in oncology and the science behind fighting cancer, Vivaan is driven to make a difference in cancer outcomes and prevention. We’re so grateful to have them join our mission.
