Back in 2021, “Rilee” never expected to be in a place where she would even consider abortion. She was already working every day to make ends meet while finishing her final year of college. As a mother of two, she was terrified that she couldn't provide for another child on her own.
The father made it clear he would not help her if she kept the baby and even drove her to an abortion appointment. Rilee almost went through with it, but she backed out the moment she saw her baby on the ultrasound.
When fear began to overwhelm her again, she scheduled a second appointment, but she found Let Them Live before that date arrived.
By receiving help with her rent, utilities, and car payments, Rilee no longer felt terrified about providing for her family. She went on to complete all of her classes before her son was born, a massive accomplishment that secured her a raise at her job. Her workplace was so supportive of her that they even gave her permission to bring her baby to work with her for several months after she gave birth.
In April of 2022, baby “Sebastian” was born. After meeting him, Rilee told us how much she loved her new life and how grateful she was to have chosen life. She has kept in touch ever since, and in her most recent update earlier this month, she shared:
“I hope you ladies are doing good!! I wanted to share some pics of Sebastian, he celebrated his 4th birthday yesterday! I’m still immensely grateful for Let Them Live. You guys hold a special place in my heart. Sebastian is so special and such a joy to be around.”
Because of supporters like you, she gets to spend each day with her son instead of wondering what could have been.
