🕊️ Make some Good Trouble.🕊️

The John R. Lewis Good Trouble Scholarship Fund in partnership with the Sigma Sigma Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is awarding two $5,000 scholarships to HBCU students carrying Congressman Lewis’s legacy forward.

📚 Who should apply: Sophomores and juniors at accredited U.S. HBCUs majoring in Criminal Justice, Political Science, or History, who are committed to advancing African American civil rights and protecting the civil rights of all Americans.

On Saturday, August 29, the Sigma Sigma Sigma Education Committee and the Taylor, Morse and Brown (TMB) Foundation hosted a program at First Alliance Church in Silver Spring, MD to celebrate the recipients of the inaugural (Charles Rogers Memorial Scholarship). The $1,000 scholarship recognizes incoming college freshmen and students entering vocational school. This year, six students were awarded a combined $6,000: Brennan Thomas, Sidney Foster, Victoria Townsend, Dezirai Fenderson, Bolutife Adefisan and Mason Chambers. Because some recipients had already started classes, their families attended to accept the awards on their behalf.

🕊️ IN MEMORY OF OUR BROTHER 🕊️

With heavy hearts, the Sigma Sigma Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. mourns the passing of our beloved Brother Shelton Paul Liddell, Jr., Fall 2007 Mu Sigma.

Brother Liddell was more than a Brother—he was a part of our Sigma family whose presence, service, and spirit will forever remain with us.

As we honor his life and legacy, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

May he rest peacefully, and may his legacy continue to inspire us to live by the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service.

The Sigma Beta Club of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. – Sigma Sigma Sigma Chapter was excited to present our upcoming Talent Show Fundraiser… however, this event has been postponed.
