Le***an Visibility Week - Film Screening!
https://thedccenter.org/events/le***an-visibility-week/

Join us for a special event in celebration of Le***an Visibility Week!
Friday, April 24th, from 7–9 pm, we’re hosting a screening of Ahead of the Curve, followed by a conversation spotlighting the resources we have for the le***an community.

About, “Ahead of The Curve.” With a fistful of credit cards, a lucky run at the track, and a fierce drive to connect her community, Franco Stevens launched Curve, the best-selling le***an magazine ever published. Ahead of the Curve chronicles Franco’s journey when she learns the magazine will fold within the year, forcing a personal and political reckoning.

After stepping away from the magazine for a decade due to a disabling injury she largely kept private, Franco questions the relevance of both the publication and her own voice amid accelerating threats to LGBTQ+ rights.

Reaching out to women working in today’s q***r spaces, Franco searches for what’s at stake—and what comes next. Her story is a powerful reminder that in uncertain times, le***an visibility remains one of our most vital tools for connection, resistance, and change.
