Dear Friends of HRNK,

Defunded by the previous U.S. administration and with no support from the current one, HRNK has fallen on hard times. Nevertheless, with your generous help, HRNK is still standing. We continue to implement your vision for a free, democratic, prosperous and unified Korea, through our investigation and reporting on North Korea’s policy of human rights denial and crimes against humanity, regime dynamics, unlawful detention facilities, vulnerable groups, and the human rights-security nexus. This year, we will be involved in two UN outreach events, will publish five new reports, and continue our uphill battle to bring freedom, prosperity, and justice to the people of North Korea.

We have worthy ideas for new innovative projects, and are confident we will see better times soon. However, for now, we are in dire straits. You have shared our mission and championed our cause. Please consider an emergency contribution to HRNK to help us finalize ongoing projects, keep the lights on, and stay in the fight.
