IAAP student scholarship program for 2014 is now accepting applications. Please note that all applications are due by 8 pm on October 17, 2014.

The IAAP annual scholarship program is now open for application by full time college students (undergraduate and graduate; Iranian, Iranian- American, or students with Iranian heritage) in the eastern United States. The deadline for submitting applications is extended to October 31, 2013. This year, the award ceremony will be held at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland on November 14, 2013. The primary criteria for receiving scholarship are:

a) Be a full time registered student in the Eastern United States

b) Academic Excellence and

c) Service to Iranian and Iranian-American communities.

The scholarship application form is now available online (http://www.iaapdc.org/scholarship-application). In 2012, approximately 40 applications from the Northeast of United States were received from highly achieved graduate and undergraduate students and 10 scholarships were awarded.

These scholarships are made possible solely by generous donations of members of Iranian-American community and professional individuals in the United States. IAAP is registered with state of Maryland and is in the process of obtaining a non-profit status.

Please feel free to distribute this announcement to individuals and student organization groups in your area, and encourage eligible applicants to apply for this scholarship.
