Tonic is dedicated to increasing public knowledge & understanding of history and science around the world through the power of theater. Tonic Theater Company is a registered 501c3 dedicated to increasing public knowledge and understanding of history and science around the world through the power of theater. By accomplishing a series of short-term goals or missions Tonic is moving steadily toward realizing its ultimate goal. Tonic Theater Company presents occasional public readings in casual salons, providing audiences and artists a live experience of scripts under consideration. In 2015 Tonic partnered with the Cultural Projects of the National Academy of Sciences (CPNAS) to present a reading of the Sloan Foundation Award winning play Moving Bodies, by Arthur Giron, at the Nation Academy of Sciences headquarters on the National Mall. In January 2017, Tonic partnered with the American Physical Society in Washington, DC to present a reading of the play Reykjavik, about the historic meeting between Reagan/Gorbachev, by Pulitzer Prize winning author Richard Rhodes (The Making of the Atomic Bomb). For the past four years Tonic Theater Company has been invited to participate in the Page–To–Stage Festival at the John F. Looking forward from early successes upcoming goals include Tonic’s first fundraising benefit and first full production. Tonic is also moving toward its goal to live stream its productions. This technology will enable Tonic to extend its mission to people of all walks of life around the world.

Each of these companies had to know this was happening. They should be shut down and their assets given to charities. Of course, that won't happen. They'll settle and admit no wrongdoing.

Help us build the future.

Right now, we're building something pretty special. Tonic Grange is our vision for an urban CEA (Controlled Environment Agriculture) farm—yes, you read that right. We're planning to grow food and community in the city, working as a catalyst for urban renewal by reimagining how arts organizations can contribute to the neighborhoods they're part of. Tonic Live Cast is a platform we're developing to livestream performances so geography and physical or financial ability stop being a barrier. You shouldn't have to live near a specific theater to experience great work.

Every amount matters. $25 helps us develop Tonic Live Cast. $100 moves us closer to launching Tonic Grange or supports our advocacy work for gender parity in theater. Larger gifts turn these concepts into actual programs. We're not a huge organization, so your contribution genuinely makes a difference in what we can build.
