IFYE USA The Offical IFYE USA FB Site. By moving to different families, our exchangees are able to gain a broader perspective about life in their host country.

Our page will allow users to gain access to the most up-to-date IFYE USA news, as well as to gain access to conference news, applications for traveling abroad, and general International youth exchange information. The IFYE program is a unique exchange program that allows young adults to, not only travel to new countries and study a new culture, but to quickly integrate one's self into the

ir host families and the surrounding communities. In doing so, IFYE presents the opportunity to become completely immersed in the host country's culture quickly, thus resulting in a deeper understanding in a shorter amount of time. The IFYE program is for individuals of 19+ years of age, who are willing to commit to living in another country for a 3 - 6 month time span. IFYE participants will then live and work, as a part of their host family for 3 -5 week time periods, before they are relocated to their next family. As an IFYE exchange participant you will embark upon the trip of a lifetime, gain new perspectives, and expand your horizons globally.

Raymond also got to experience the wheat harvest in North Dakota. It hasn’t been all work, we’ve also been taking in the small moments one sunset at a time.

This is a school in one of the local villages that Josh, our IFYE from Georgia, had the opportunity to visit. He learned about the school’s history and how they incorporate agriculture into their curriculum. One of the highlights of the visit was watching the students showcase their creativity during a watermelon carving contest.
