Postal Reform

Postal Reform $50 billion in debt? Overwhelmingly dissatisfied customers? Mission creep? Join the fight to bring real reform to the USPS.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is facing a financial crisis that has only been made worse due to a lack of leadership and accountability within the agency. We want to put the USPS on a path toward fiscal solvency, coupled with a single focus of carrying out the original mission of the Postal Service: delivering the mail. The USPS has racked up more than $50 billion in losses over the last

decade, with $5 billion in losses during 2015 alone. This type of financial instability cannot continue. It is time for the USPS to get back to their core mission of delivering the mail. The Board of Governors must be adequately filled so that they can be a part of bringing real reform and needed fiscal management to an agency that is losing billions of dollars every year. The Taxpayers Protection Alliance and our partner organizations in this effort will fight so that the USPS can realize real reforms and a manageable balance sheet.
