Mesothelioma not only affects the patient, it affects the whole family... but sometimes it inspires a whole town.

New Carlisle, Indiana gets painted BLUE every September 26th in honor of Steven Staley. Shirts are made and distributed and they are all across town from sporting events to a local restaurant. Steven's memory has inspired a town, bringing awareness, and making change.

Special thanks to Jack and Ellen Brown. They pledged $26,000 from the Em for Emily to the Mesothelioma Awareness Day Challenge pushing way over our original match. This is the tenth and final year of their annual golf tournament in honor of their daughter Emily. She was diagnosed at the young age of 25, just months after the birth of her daughter.

Over the past ten years, the Brown family and Em for Emily has relentlessly advocated for mesothelioma awareness and generously gave to the foundation to advance research and help patients with travel grants. We are honored to be a small part of Emily's legacy đź’™

Mesothelioma doesn't just affect a patient... it affects the family, the community, and beyond.

We may have lost Bonnie Anderson, but her legacy and her love for advocacy and awareness lives on through her family and friends.

This year, her granddaughter designed a Mesothelioma Awareness Day shirt in remembrance of Bonnie and people across the country are wearing them today to honor her and other patients fighting mesothelioma.
