🚨Trump’s EPA wants to make it easier for data centers, which frequently use gas turbines for electricity, to pollute and Moms are furious.

😡Trump EPA’s recently sent a proposal to the White House for approval that could allow data centers (aka “industrial sources”) to use gas combustion turbines without obtaining Clean Air Act permits!! They could instead be considered “mobile” “nonroad engines,” which are generally smaller generators that are used after storms or with offroad equipment.

🙄 But these aren’t small generators – they are massive turbines that pollute massively potentially exposing children and families to soot, nitrogen oxide, formaldehyde. AND they’d be able to use these “portable” turbines with no public notice or review of air quality impacts.

😤 This is another hurtful, harmful action by Trump’s EPA and Lee Zeldin to prioritize pollution over children!

"Halloween is one of our favorite holidays too, but please be aware that certain decorations can pose a risk to wildlife! Dangling items and fake spiderwebs pose an entanglement threat to songbirds and birds of prey that can cut off circulation to legs or toes, cause damage to feathers and wings and so much more. The stress alone of being tangled in webbing for sometimes hours can be fatal. We ask that if you really want to use fake webbing for your Halloween decorations, consider doing it inside and not outdoors.

Another Halloween decoration to consider is pumpkins! We LOVE carved pumpkins and we know you do too! It's fun to carve them, they're a great, natural fall decoration and can be a delicious snack for wildlife! The trouble arises when pumpkins are disposed of after they've begun to mold and droop. Disposing of pumpkins along roadways or on the ground at the curb for local trash pick-up will draw wildlife closer to roads, which poses an obvious threat to their well-being and yours too if they dart out in front of a moving vehicle. Instead, consider putting pumpkins in trash receptacles so that they are contained once you have decided to dispose of them. If the pumpkin isn't moldy and you can dispose of it on your own property away from the road and in an area where wildlife won't be a nuisance or endangered by eating it.
