National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG) Advancing Wheat Through Advocacy, Innovation, and Alliances Learn more on our website, www.wheatworld.org!

In 1950, a handful of wheat growers from across the country formed NAWG to work toward common solutions and make decisions for the future of America’s wheat producers. Today, NAWG works with a team of 21 state wheat grower organizations to benefit the wheat industry at state and national levels. From their offices in the Wheat Growers Building on Capitol Hill, NAWG’s staff members are in constant

contact with state association representatives, NAWG grower leaders, Members of Congress, Congressional staff members and the public.

It’s been a busy week in Washington, D.C.! We kicked things off by celebrating America’s 250th birthday at Mount Vernon alongside Secretary Rollins and fellow agricultural leaders. NAWG officers also met with congressional and White House officials to discuss the priorities of U.S. wheat growers and advocate for policies that support our nation's producers.

Thank you, Brooke Rollins, for standing up for the crop protection tools wheat growers rely on every day. America's farmers need access to science-based innovations that help them remain productive, competitive, and keep food affordable.

Strong comments from Brooke Rollins before House Ag GOP on the importance of protecting farmers’ access to essential crop protection tools.

At a time when farmers are facing tight margins and growing uncertainty, it is encouraging to see USDA leadership recognize what is at stake for our food supply, national security, and rural communities.
