he holistic healing of community members. Through compassionate guidance and the use of mental health wellness techniques, we tap into client’s inner possibility to harness hope, balance, and the clarity to adapt behaviors and overcome challenges towards desired goals. Services provided include individual, group and family therapy in person or via TeleMental Health, biopsychosocial mental health evaluations and trainings for organizations, schools and companies on a variety of topics including wellness, self-care, leadership, direct services to Latinos, immigrants and other communities, mindfulness for kids, youth and adults. Founded in November, 2016 by Cheryl Aguilar, LICSW, LCSW-C.

We are excited to launch a new spotlight series highlighting our incredible community partners whose work strengthens the wellbeing, resilience, and opportunities of our communities.

For our inaugural spotlight, we are honored to recognize thedream_us — the nation’s largest college and career success program for first-generation immigrant students, with whom we are honored to collaborate to bring wellness education and healing-centered support to Dreamers.

To date, more than 13,000 Dreamers have received scholarships through TheDream.US, helping create ripple effects across families, communities, and future generations. Beyond scholarships, TheDream.US continues to advocate for educational equity, protections for Dreamers, and opportunities currently under attack, while also providing immigration, legal, mental health, and rapid response support for immigrant students navigating uncertainty and systemic barriers.

Organizations like TheDream.US remind us that wellness also means access, belonging, opportunity, community, and the ability not only to dream about one’s future, but also to pursue it, build it, and achieve it.

Grateful to Gaby Pacheco, CEO of TheDream.US, and her entire team for their relentless advocacy and commitment to Dreamers across the country.

We are not meant to carry life alone. Make being in community and in relationship with others part of your healing journey.
